World Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association (W.I.C.H.P.A.)

世界非遗促进会（World Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association，简称 W.I.C.H.P.A.），由美籍华人企业家（国际电商）侯天祥（John Hou / Tianxiang Hou）于 2025 年在美国伊利诺伊州芝加哥正式注册成立，是一家国际非营利文化机构，致力于非物质文化遗产在全球范围内的保护、传播与创新发展。
在正式创会之前，协会的核心团队已广泛参与、组织并策划了多场与非遗相关的展览、艺术节、教育工作坊与国际艺术家交流项目，涵盖技艺包括：剪纸、面塑、木偶、皮影、刺绣、书法、民族乐器与传统服饰等，并在中美文化交流领域积累了丰富的实践经验与国际合作资源。
为更有力地推动非遗艺术的国际传播与系统推广，协会于 2025 年正式注册，成为“全球非遗推广会”项目的重要主办单位之一。在该项目中，协会将重点策划并协同执行芝加哥、纽约、洛杉矶与华盛顿等城市的非遗展演活动，联合全球艺术家与文化机构，推动中华非遗走向世界舞台。

The World Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Association (W.I.C.H.P.A.) was founded in 2025 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, by Chinese American entrepreneur (international e‑commerce) John Hou (Tianxiang Hou). It is an international nonprofit cultural organization dedicated to safeguarding, promoting, and innovatively transmitting intangible cultural heritage worldwide.
Prior to its official establishment, the Association’s core team had already organized and supported numerous exhibitions, art festivals, educational workshops, and international artist collaborations. These efforts spanned traditional crafts such as paper‑cutting, dough sculpture, puppetry, shadow play, embroidery, calligraphy, ethnic instruments, and folk costumes—building substantial experience and partnerships in U.S.–China cultural exchange.
To amplify international impact, W.I.C.H.P.A. was formally registered in 2025 and became one of the principal organizers of the Global Intangible Heritage Promotion Tour. As part of this initiative, the Association co‑leads heritage exhibitions and performances in major U.S. cities including Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C., working with artists and institutions worldwide to bring Chinese living traditions to the global stage.
