从百老汇到艺术馆
2025年10月18日，纽约百老汇剧场。
灯光璀璨，全球影人汇聚。评委会全票通过，将电影节最高荣誉授予乔榛——这位以声音塑造了几代人集体记忆的中国文联终身成就奖得主。然而，年逾八旬的乔榛先生，终因档期与身体原因，未能亲赴大洋彼岸。

奖杯在纽约静候数月。直至2026年6月27日，由设计者亲自护送，跨越太平洋，终抵上海。原上海市委宣传部部长、知名摄影家潘维明，电影节评审团主席兼秘书长曹玛丽，美中时报总编张来明，乔榛语言艺术馆馆长乔阳等嘉宾，以及上海戏剧学院师生代表，海内外文化学者、影视艺术家、语言艺术从业者等齐聚一堂，共同见证这一荣耀时刻。

本次活动的牵线人，担纲节目主持
乔榛先生的学生、旅居纽约的著名国际主持人王国权（Prince John）担纲主持。 王国权是联合国妇女地位委员会大会官方论坛主持人及官方代表，被誉为”国际妇女之友”，获纽约州参议院及纽约市议会官方授予”情歌王子·国际主持人”荣誉称号，是放眼全球极为罕见的、能同时与艾美奖、格莱美奖得主合作表演的艺术家。真正活跃于美国主流文化圈的华人艺术家，其足迹遍及联合国总部、哥伦比亚大学、耶鲁大学、卡内基音乐厅、林肯中心、纽约市政厅等顶尖艺术殿堂与高等学府，获CNN、American Channel、国际日报、星岛日报、侨报、纽约综合新闻等美国主流媒体广泛报道。

致敬与传承
仪式以乔榛经典配音片段回顾启幕。上海戏剧学院师生献上《四月的纪念》，以朗诵与配音演绎致敬前辈。

随后，主持人王国权介绍到场嘉宾，并特别邀请艾伦·赵琼博士登台。王国权先生现场分享了他与艾伦·赵琼博士的缘分——巧合中的巧合，二人在纽约共同出席了多个活动：世界爱心妇女总会周年庆典晚宴上，艾伦·赵琼博士恰好坐在王国权先生身边；此后又在纽约联合国总部共同出席第70届妇女地位委员会大会开幕式、闭幕式等活动，期间更相聚多次。这份不期而遇的友谊，最终促成了”金牛奖”奖杯跨越太平洋的归途。

艾伦·赵琼博士代表电影节组委会宣读感谢信，并致辞。她谈及AI时代语言艺术的珍贵，乔榛对”人本”内核的坚守，为新一代影视人树立标杆。

荣耀时刻
评委会主席曹玛丽以”声影造梦，极致呈现”八字概括乔榛贡献。艾伦·赵琼奉上奖杯，曹玛丽授予证书，全场掌声经久不息。

乔榛感言：中华民族语言是世界上最优美的语言，必将追梦不息。他回忆与格利高里·派克的往事——《爱德华大夫》译制后，派克到访上海电影译制厂，虽不懂中文，却从其语气中感受到角色灵魂，直言”两人各占一半功劳”。
乔榛以书法”魂的再塑”回赠艾伦·赵琼，共勉艺术之道。

翡翠婚之礼
仪式尾声，一个温情细节：2026年6月28日，恰为乔榛与夫人唐国妹翡翠婚（55周年）纪念日。这座跨越太平洋而来的奖杯，成为最珍贵的贺礼。

一座金牛奖杯，从百老汇到乔榛语言艺术馆。跨越的不仅是太平洋的万里波涛，更是两代艺术传承者之间的温情握手，是民间文化交流生生不息的注脚。

Midsummer Shanghai. A long-awaited artistic rendezvous.
The 3rd International Chinese Original IP Film Festival & 2025 Global AI Film Festival New York presented the “Golden Bull Award · Lifetime Achievement in Film Language Arts” to Master Qiao Zhen at the Qiao Zhen Language Art Museum in Shanghai. Dr. Ellen Zhao Qiong, renowned international artist, master sculptor, Chair of the World Asian Women Alliance, Advisory Chair of the New York International AI Film Festival, Director of the American Goddess Art Museum, and internationally renowned public artist and art historian, flew from New York to Shanghai carrying the Wall Street copper bull-inspired Golden Bull trophy she personally designed, completing this honor transfer across ten thousand miles.
From Broadway to the Art Museum
October 18, 2025, Broadway Theatre, New York.
Lights dazzled as global filmmakers gathered. The jury unanimously voted to award the festival’s highest honor to Qiao Zhen — this Lifetime Achievement Award winner of the China Federation of Literary and Arts Circles who shaped generations’ collective memories through his voice. However, due to scheduling conflicts and his advanced age, Mr. Qiao could not make the journey across the ocean.
The trophy waited in New York for months. On June 27, 2026, its designer personally escorted it across the Pacific to Shanghai. Pan Weiming, former Minister of the Shanghai Municipal Propaganda Department and renowned photographer; Cao Mali, Chair of the Film Festival Jury and Secretary-General; Qiao Yang, Director of the Qiao Zhen Language Art Museum; faculty and students from the Shanghai Theatre Academy; and numerous domestic and international cultural scholars, film artists, and language arts practitioners gathered to witness this glorious moment.
The Key Facilitator of This Event, Serving as Host
The ceremony was hosted by Prince John – Wang Guoquan, student of Master Qiao Zhen and renowned international host based in New York. Prince John – Wang Guoquan is the Official Forum Host and Representative of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, honored as “Friend of International Women,” and officially awarded the title “Prince of Love Songs · International Host” by the New York State Senate and New York City Council. A singer who has collaborated with Emmy and Grammy Award winners — an extremely rare achievement on the global stage. A Chinese artist truly active in the American mainstream cultural circle, his footprints span the UN Headquarters, Columbia University, Yale University, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and New York City Hall, and he has been widely featured in American mainstream media including CNN, American Channel, International Daily, Sing Tao Daily, China Press, and New York Comprehensive News.
Tribute and Heritage
The ceremony opened with classic dubbing clips from Qiao Zhen’s career, reviewing sixty years of artistic dedication. Faculty and students from the Shanghai Theatre Academy presented “Memorial of April” — a special program of recitation and voice performance honoring the master.
Host Prince John – Wang Guoquan then introduced the guests and specially invited Dr. Ellen Zhao Qiong to the stage. Prince John – Wang Guoquan shared the story of his connection with Dr. Zhao — a coincidence of coincidences. They attended multiple events together in New York: at the World Love Women Federation Anniversary Gala, Dr. Zhao happened to be seated next to Prince John – Wang Guoquan; later they both attended the 70th UN Commission on the Status of Women at UN Headquarters in New York, meeting multiple times. This unexpected friendship ultimately facilitated the Golden Bull trophy’s journey across the Pacific.
Dr. Ellen Zhao Qiong, on behalf of both film festival organizing committees, read the letter of gratitude and delivered remarks. She spoke of the preciousness of language arts in the AI era, and how Qiao Zhen’s steadfast commitment to the “human-centered” core has set a benchmark for new generations of filmmakers.

The applause and cheers from across the ocean may have settled, but the power of your voice continues to resonate through time. On the occasion of Film Festival Advisory Chair Ellen Zhao Qiong and Secretary-General Cao Mali’s visit to Shanghai, we — the Organizing Committee of the 3rd International Chinese Original IP Film Festival and the 2025 Global AI Film Festival New York — extend our most sincere greetings and highest respect to you!
In October 2025, at the 3rd International Chinese Original IP Film Festival and 2025 Global AI Film Festival New York, the jury unanimously voted to present you with our highest honor: the “Golden Bull Award · Lifetime Achievement in Film Language Arts.” This honor is not only a tribute to you as a Lifetime Achievement Award winner of the China Federation of Literary and Arts Circles and a national treasure of language arts, but a solemn coronation of your decades-long artistic career shaping souls with sound and transmitting civilization through language.
Your artistic achievements have long transcended national borders, becoming a monument of Chinese film language arts. However, due to your advanced age, you could not travel to New York to accept the award in person — a deep regret in our hearts. Your student, singer and international host Prince John – Wang Guoquan, through his enthusiasm and experience in long-term cultural exchange activities in New York, actively communicated with us (particularly with Ms. Ellen Zhao Qiong) and carefully coordinated the follow-up award ceremony. It was Prince John – Wang Guoquan’s bridging role that made possible our presenting the Golden Bull trophy and certificate to you in person. This is not merely an award delivery, but a warm handshake between two generations of film language art inheritors, and a vivid portrayal of the endless vitality of folk cultural exchange.
We deeply understand that voice is the second soul of film. Today, as AI technology increasingly intervenes in film production, your ultimate pursuit of language arts becomes even more precious. You have breathed life into countless classic characters with your voice, and inspired new generations of filmmakers to uphold the “human-centered” core of art.
Our greatest wish in coming to Shanghai is to listen to your teachings in person and witness this glory returning to its rightful owner. May you enjoy good health and evergreen artistic vitality! Moment of Glory
Jury Chair Cao Mali summarized Qiao’s contribution with eight characters: “Voice and shadow create dreams, ultimate presentation.” Dr. Ellen Zhao Qiong presented the trophy, Cao Mali awarded the certificate, and the audience erupted in sustained applause.
Qiao Zhen expressed his heartfelt gratitude: “The Chinese language is the most beautiful language in the world. I will continue pursuing my dreams without cease.” He recalled his precious memories with Hollywood legend Gregory Peck — after the dubbing of “Spellbound” was completed, Peck visited the Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio. Though he understood no Chinese, he felt the soul of the character through Qiao’s intonation and emotion, declaring that “we each contributed half to shaping this character.”
Qiao Zhen presented his calligraphy “Re-shaping the Soul” to Dr. Ellen Zhao Qiong as a mutual encouragement in their artistic pursuits.
A Gift for the Jade Wedding
As the ceremony concluded, a warm detail emerged: June 28, 2026, marked Qiao Zhen and his wife Tang Guomei’s Jade Wedding (55th anniversary). This trophy that crossed the Pacific became their most precious anniversary gift.
