胡薇薇，著名女高音歌唱家，六歲進入小紅花藝術团學習，曾出訪過新加坡，曰本和澳大利亞，1988年考入南京藝術學院音樂系，師從著名聲樂教育家顧雪珍教授學習聲樂演唱，在校期間多次代表學校參加全國各高等音樂學院舉辦的聲樂比賽，曾獲”全國聶耳，冼星海杯”聲樂作品演唱大賽最佳新秀奬，華東六省一市”藍島杯”演唱大賽金奬，1992年考進南京軍區前線歌舞團擔任獨唱演員，1994年被上海有線電視臺聘請為”每周MTV”的主持人，1996年來美，獲得傑出藝術人才綠卡，曾在1998年獲得”全美歌唱大賽”紐約第一名，並且出版了自己的音樂專輯”乘著歌聲的翅膀”，之後一直活躍在全美各地的華人舞台，并獲得紐約市議員頒發的”傑出藝人貢獻奬”， 1999年創立了自己的音樂工作室，在2018年四月成立了藝橋學院，一所新澤西州華人綜合的藝術學院，擔任2017及2018年＂中国新歌声＂第二期和第三期美国东部海选的评委和梦想导师，2019年擔任”水立方海外華人中文歌曲大賽”紐約賽區的評審，從2019年至今，擔任加拿大多倫多和蒙特利爾賽區的評審, 全球精英才藝大賽評審，美國星湃才藝大賽評審，創辦并擔任新澤西愛樂合唱團的團長，目前團員一百多人。

Sally Hu, soprano, founded the New Jersey Philharmonic Chorus. She has a history of vocal accomplishments and was only six years old when she entered the Small Red Flower Art Group to study and visited Singapore, Japan, and Australia. In 1988, she was accepted to Nanjing University and studied vocal music under the famous music educator Professor Gu Xuezhen in the Department of Music. On behalf of the school, she participated in many vocal music competitions held by national music conservatories and won the National Women Xian Xinghai Cup, Best Talent Award, and the Blue Island Cup Gold Award from 6 provinces and a city in East China. In 1992, she was accepted as a soloist to the Frontline Song and Dance Troupe of the Nanjing Military Region. In 1994, she was hired by the Shanghai Cable TV station as the host of MTV Weekly. In 1996, she emigrated to the United States with the honor of an EB-1 visa granted to professionals with extraordinary artistic abilities. In 1998, she won first place in the American Song Contest in New York and released her own music album called “Riding on the Wings of Song.” Sally was active on the Chinese stage across the United States and was honored with the Outstanding Artist Contribution Award from the New York City Council. In 1999, she founded her own music studio.

In April 2018, Sally set up the Arts Bridge Academy, a comprehensive Chinese art college in New Jersey. In 2017 and 2018, she served as a judge and dream mentor for the 2nd and 3rd phases of Eastern United States auditions of China’s New Song. The following year, in 2019, she was a judge at the New York division of the Water Cube Overseas Chinese Song Contest. Since 2019, she has served as a judge in the Global Elite Talent Contest, the United States Star Pai Talent Contest, and talent contests in Toronto and Montreal, Canada. Currently, she serves as the Director of the New Jersey Philharmonic Chorus, which has over 100 members.
